THE closing ceremony for Tahsinul Fikrah Workshop, organised by the Religious Department of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JAMA’AT), was held at the Auditorium of Performance Optimisation Centre, Bolkiah Garrison, yesterday.
The guest of honour was Head of JAMA’AT Commander Haji Ainolnizam bin Haji Ibrahim. Guests from other uniformed agencies were also present.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Yaasiin by 50731 Private Abdul Manan bin Othman and a speech by the guest of honour.
The Head of JAMA’AT advised the participants to apply the skills acquired from the workshop and to practise it within the community.
The ceremony proceeded with the presentation of certificates to the participants and concluded with the recitation of Doa by 15637 Staff Sergeant Haji Muhammad Syasuandi bin Haji Abu Bakar.
The workshop was the first workshop organised by JAMA’AT and saw participants from other agencies namely Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Department of Internal Security, Royal Brunei Police Force, Fire and Rescue Department and Prisons Department.
The workshop’s objective was to establish the relationship and strengthen unity with other uniformed forces through religious courses by sharing knowledge, skills and experience between organisations.
