THE Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) yesterday held a ceremony to present retirement certificates to 161 personnel of the PMO and its departments who retired last year. The ceremony was held at the Banquet Hall of the PMO.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud presented the certificates and tokens of appreciation to the retirees.
Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Datin Seri Paduka Dayang Hajah Elinda binti Haji CA Mohammad also attended.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by Mosque Affairs Officer Anuar bin Haji Salim, and followed with opening remarks by Permanent Secretary (Corporate Affairs and Public Administration) at the PMO Haji Roslan bin Haji Taja’ah as event chairman.
He said, the retirees can share their acquired knowledge, experience and skills with the younger generation. This will produce highly-skilled and quality personnel, towards achieving the Brunei Vision 2035.
The ceremony, which was to acknowledge the hard work and efforts of the retirees, concluded with a Doa Selamat.
Auditor general, permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretary and heads of department, as well as officers and staff of the PMO and its departments were also in attendance.
