TWELVE students and seven lecturers from Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College made an educational visit to the Puteri Tujuh Park and Adventure Fair last Sunday.

The fair is located at the mythical site of Tujuh Telaga Mandian Puteri amidst the white sands of Kampong Tanjong Maya in Tutong, an area draped with local legends and myths of princesses of the sky who used to descend to Earth to bathe at one of the seven ancient wells at the site.

The group was welcomed to the fair by Mandian Puteri Gallery Manager Sha’ari bin Haji Zunaidi and given a briefing about the gallery by Nursya’ahidah binti Sha’ari.

The visit was organised and led by five of the college’s travel and tourism students.

It was a component of the students’ tourism course to give them early exposure to tourism agency management.

The visit also served to introduce the Tujuh Telaga Mandian Puteri site as an important historical legacy of Brunei to the students and the country’s youth, considering the fact that the majority of the students weren’t aware of the site’s existence.
