A 34-YEAR-OLD local man yesterday pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to criminal trespassing in a government building, after initially denying the prosecution’s charge against him by the end of 2018.

Pengiran Mohd Hafinee bin Pengiran Haji Marali was sentenced to four months’ imprisonment by Chief Magistrate Pengiran Masni binti Pengiran Haji Bahar, who said the custodial sentence was warranted in this case.

DPP Hajah Siti Mu’izzah binti Haji Sabli informed the court that the defendant had trespassed into the Lambak Kanan Police Apartments between 3.45pm-5.20pm on December 17, 2018. The prosecution also informed the court that the defendant had been sentenced earlier in 2018, for the same offence committed at the same place.
