Lion Air ends search for crashed Boeing 737’s second black box

JAKARTA (Bernama) – Indonesia’s Lion Air announced yesterday that the carrier had ended its search for the second black box voice recorder of its Boeing 737 Max jet which crashed into the Java Sea in October, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported.

Lion Air Group spokesman Danang Mandala said that the search using the offshore supply ship MPV Everest had ended at 11.59pm of December 29. The group spent USD2.6 million on the search.
