AS PART of its continuing efforts to support impoverished families, La Vida Association Brunei Darussalam held a two-month Study Pack Donation Drive last year, at various schools across the country.

Last November, the group visited the Lambak Kanan Primary School in the Brunei-Muara District; and the Pengiran Kesuma Negara Bukit Beruang Primary School, Benutan Primary School and Panchong Primary School in the Tutong District to present school supplies to 132 students for the new academic year.

Earlier this month, the group travelled to the Belait District to deliver school supplies to 106 students at the Orang Kaya Pemancha Berandai Bukit Sawat Primary School, Pengiran Setia Negara Pengiran Mohd Yusof Primary School, St Margaret’s School, Chung Ching Middle School and St James’ School.

The association has expressed gratitude to Lotus Light Charity Society, Wan Fu Charity Fund, International School Brunei and other private sponsors for helping to provide assistance to underprivileged and special needs students in preparing for the new academic year.
