Future engineers in the making

FARADAY Do-It-Yourself Challenge is an annual competition that is organised by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Brunei Young Professional Section (YPS). It is a competition in which students are encouraged to build and plan out working machinery with the help of brain power and team work alongside creativity in making innovative creations.

The students competed in the competition which was held on September 2, 2018 at Aman Hills. They were given the task to make a water displacement system which was between 30 and 50 centimetres tall.

Our students managed to grasp the second place as the judges saw immense potential in our students and their project. Other than winning, our students had a lot of fun during the Faraday Challenge as it required teamwork, critical thinking, money and time management and precision, which will be very beneficial to them as future engineers.
