EDUCATION consultancy firm Findlay (B) Sdn Bhd will hold its ninth International Study Fair at The Rizqun International Hotel in Gadong on January 28, from 2pm-7pm.
Representatives from 20 institutions in Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore and the United Kingdom will be available to discuss study options with students for entry in 2019 to 2021.
Director of Findlay Sunita Martin said, “We continue to make every effort to support young Bruneians in achieving their academic and career goals with our end-to-end ‘Solutions for Education, Employment and Excellence’.”
British institutions attending the fair are Birmingham City University, De Montfort University, University of Dundee, University of Edinburgh, London South Bank University, Northumbria University, University of Portsmouth, Queen’s University Belfast, University College Birmingham, University of Southampton, University of South Wales, University of Surrey and University of Winchester.
Other universities represented at the bi-annual event are Curtin University in Malaysia, James Cook University in Singapore, Centennial College in Canada and University of Tasmania in Australia.
Pathway providers Oxford International Education Group, Navitas and INTO UK will also be present. The Findlay team will be available for enquiries about courses at universities and colleges that are unable to be present at the fair.
Students unsure of what educational or career directions to take can sign up for a Morrisby Career Profiling psychometric assessment and learn about Findlay’s personal development workshops.
Officials from the Brunei Darussalam National Accreditation Council and the Scholarship Section of the Ministry of Education will also be present, while Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) will explain education loans to students and their parents and CfBT on English proficiency test IELTS.
Plus-Exp, an exciting portal to connect undergraduates and graduates with businesses through internship opportunities in Brunei will also be present to showcase their service.
Leading professionals from the private sector will also be available to help the students make informed career decisions at the fair. Among the industries represented will be halal foods, innovative technologies and creative industries, business services and tourism.
