Crime prevention patrols ensure safety of villages

THE Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), in collaboration with members of Neighbourhood Watch (PK), organised crime prevention patrols at two villages in Tutong and Belait districts recently.

The patrol in Tutong District involved personnel from Lamunin Police Station and PK members of Kampong Menengah/Bukit Sulang.

It was led by Officer-in-Charge of Lamunin Police Station Inspector Muhd Zulfadli bin Haji Md Yusof and three police personnel.

Village Head of Kampong Menengah/Bukit Sulang Haji Roslee bin Haji Ahad and seven members of PK were also involved.

The patrol began from 10pm, which focussed on houses of the residents and surroundings of the village.

Meanwhile in Seria, it was conducted by PK Unit of Seria Police Station and PK members of Kampong Lorong 3 Seria.

The patrol was led by Assistant Officer-in-Charge of Seria Police Station (P/Insp) Boniface Anak Janlita and two police personnel.

Village Head of Kampong Lorong 3 Seria Haji Saidin bin Haji Ibrahim and four PK members were also involved.

No suspicious activities were found at Kampong Lorong 3 Seria and RPN Lorong Tengah Seria. The patrols aimed to ensure safety of the villages.
