UNIVERSITI Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) through its Leadership and Lifelong Learning Centre commenced its series of Tadabbur Al-Quran programme for the public for the January 2019 session with the admission of 55 participants.
According to the university, the programme is one of its efforts to support Brunei’s vision to become a Zikir Nation and for its people to be Al-Quran-literate as envisioned by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
Through the programme, participants can have deeper understanding of the essence of Al-Quran through venerated references and interpretation scriptures with a more systematic guidance.
Two modules are available in the once a week session participated by individuals, students, as well as public servants. The programme will be continually held and those who wish to participate can contact the university by visiting their website www.unissa.edu.bn.
