THE 25th Civil Service Day Futsal Championship will be held in February in collaboration between the Administration Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Brunei-Muara District Office, Youth and Sports Department and the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD).
The 25th Civil Service Day Futsal Championship is open to all 13 ministries in Brunei Darussalam and comprises two categories, the Open Category and Veteran Category. A total of 12 ministries will compete in the Open Category while only nine ministries will take part in the Veteran Category.
The Managers’ Meeting and Tournament Draw was held at the Meeting Room, 4th Floor of the Brunei-Muara District Office at Old Airport yesterday.
In the Open Category, the 12 teams are divided into two groups.
Group ‘A’ consists of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA), Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE), Ministry of Energy, Manpower and Industry (MEMI), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and Ministry of Development (MoD).
Group ‘B’ consists of the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC), Ministry of Health (MoH), Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA), the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Ministry of Defence (MinDef) and Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS).
In the Veteran Category, the nine teams are also divided into two groups.
Group ‘A’ comprises of the MoE, MinDef, MoRA, MTIC and MoH, while Group ‘B’ inlcudes the MoD, MoHA, MoFE and MCYS.
The championship will be held on February 3, 8 and 10. All the matches will be held at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.
