Some 200 people attended Duli Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah College’s (Maktab Duli) mass Maghrib, Isyak and Sunnat Hajat prayers and recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Doa Kesyukuran on Thursday in conjunction with the 49th birthday of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office.
Deputy Permanent Secretary (Core Education) at the Ministry of Education (MoE) Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman was the guest of honour.
The event began with mass Maghrib and Sunnat Hajat prayers led by Usuluddin lecturer from Maktab Duli Islamic Studies Department Syed Mohsen bin Syed Abdulrahman Alkaff, followed by the recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Doa Kesyukuran led by Head of Maktab Duli Islamic Studies Department Pengiran Shahmirul Kamal bin Pengiran Haji Rahim.
The event concluded with a mass Isyak prayer.
Head of Department from the MoE Dayangku Hajah Nooramaliatifah binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad, Maktab Duli Deputy Principal Administration Dayangku Zalina binti Pengiran Haji Aliuddin, Deputy Principal Academic Dr Mohd Zamri bin Haji Ismail, MoE officials as well as Maktab Duli PMAMB teaching staff and students also attended.
