Some 20 asnaf convert families received donations of basic necessities at the Kampong Merangking Religious Hall, Belait District, as part of a Jelajah Muallaf programme and Belia Muallaf Prihatin conducted by the Asy-Syahadah Muallaf Youth Group under the umbrella of the Youth Religious Programme (PKB) Secretariat, Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) yesterday.
Part of the community initiative themed ‘From Converts to Converts’, the programme serves to support converts in the Sultanate through direct interaction and assistance.
PDI director Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh was the guest of honour.
The programme also included a sports fiesta and cleaning campaign at the
