191 religious teaching students take pledge

A total of 191 new students at the Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) took the students’ pledge at the at the institution recently.

The 2021/2022 academic intake comprises 75 male and 117 female students who underwent the orientation week from July 24-28.

The orientation programme concluded with a Doa Kesyukuran at Tarbiyah Hall.

KUPU SB Ra’es Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar as the guest of honour. The ceremony commenced with a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by student from Higher National Diploma (HND) in Religious Education (Arabic Language Education) Programme, Md Amirul Hakim bin Md Hassan and followed with a recitation of Asmaa Ul-Husna

The ceremony then followed with the reading of Surah Al-’Alaq by students from HND in Religious Education (Islamic Education)Programme, Muhd Hazim bin Saiful Rizal, Mohammad Hafizuddin bin Mohammad Saidin, Abdul Mateen bin Haji Johari and Arif Fariduddin bin Abbas.

Ahmad Syarkawi bin Mardy delivered the interpretation.

The ceremony concluded with reading of students’ pledge led by Muad Noor Fauzan Azizi bin Mazne from HND in Religious Education (Islamic Education) Programme.
