15 attend curriculum design training

SEAMEO Voctech Regional Centre, in collaboration with GIZ-RECOTVET is conducting a five-day Regional Training Programme on Curriculum Design for Industry 4.0 Work Process held virtually via SEA-VET.Net – a learning platform (Thinkific) and Zoom.

The training programme, held from December 7 to 11, is joined by 15 participants comprising TVET teachers – teachers/instructors of all levels, master trainers, and trainers of trainees from SEAMEO member countries, including two participants from Politeknik Brunei (PB) and Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE), Ministry of Education Brunei Darussalam.

The training programme is designed for the development of work process-oriented curricula ‘Fit for Industry 4.0’, focussing on the labour market demands.

It is expected that, at the end of this training programme, the participants will be able to carry through work process analysis for curriculum development and apply the self-reliant learning model in developing competencies to respond to labour market needs.

The programme is facilitated by Training and Professional Development Manager cum TVET Specialist, SEAMEO VOCTECH Regional Centre Noorhayati Cynthia Abdullah, and Nabilah Ooi Abdullah from Malaysia.
