142 stranded Indian nationals head home

High Commission of India in Brunei Darussalam has been arranging chartered flights from Royal Brunei airline (RB) to evacuate stranded Indian nationals in Brunei since July 2020.

The two Indian associations in Brunei-Muara and Belait districts along with the regional Indian organisations have been playing a significant role in the repatriation process.

The flight with 142 passengers left Brunei yesterday morning at 9.15am for Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Indian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Ajaneesh Kumar and other officials from the high commission were present.
