    120 new teachers complete induction programme

    Permanent Secretary (Core Education) at the Ministry of Education (MoE) Dr Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati binti Haji Tajuddin presented certificates to 120 participants of the induction programme for new teachers at its closing ceremony yesterday at the Musyawarah Hall, International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas.

    Also present were heads of departments, heads of clusters and senior officers at the MoE.

    The ceremony, organised by the MoE through the Department of Educators Management, began with closing remarks from Acting Director of the Department of Educators Management Masdiah binti Haji Tuah. It was followed by speeches from representative of teachers under the Department of Special Education Abdul Azim bin Haji Abdul Mutalif and representative of teachers recruited through the apprentice programme Afiqah Bari’ah binti Haji Emran.

    The ceremony then proceeded with the recitation of the Teacher’s Oath, led by programme participant Akmal Fauzan bin Abu Bakar.

    It concluded with the certificate presentation by the Permanent Secretary to the participants and tokens of appreciation to representatives of agencies involved in the induction programme.
