10 gamblers netted

Ten people, including a foreigner, allegedly involved in an illegal game of katam-katam were taken into custody on January 5, the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) said.

The suspects, aged 30 to 62, were arrested during the 10pm raid on a house at STKRJ Kampong Mata-Mata, Katok ‘B’, Gadong, by the Anti-Vice and Gambling Suppression Unit and the Housebreaking and Car Theft Unit under the RBPF’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID). Gambling items and cash found in the house were seized.
