10 dead, 10 missing in north China landslide

TAIYUAN (Xinhua) – A house collapse triggered by a landslide in north China’s Shanxi Province has caused 10 deaths and left another 10 missing, local authorities said yesterday. As of 10am yesterday, 16 people had been pulled out of the debris and sent to hospital, but three failed to respond to medical treatment. Seven were found dead at the site.
