SINGAPORE (Bernama) – ZALORA, Asia’s online fashion destination, yesterday announced its new same-day delivery service, making it the only regional online fashion retailer to offer such a facility.
Its Regional Managing Director Michele Ferrario said in a statement that customers can choose the same-day delivery option at checkout on selected items for a nominal fee.
“With the new service, we are further committing ourselves to customers who lead busy lives. It also comes with other customer-centric services such as free shipping for orders over a certain amount, self-collection and cash on delivery.
“We are adding an element of instant gratification that is missing from the online shopping experience. We want our customers to have that extra thrill of getting that dress, those heels or that red lipstick today instead of tomorrow.
“The service will be introduced first in Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam before extending it to the entire South East Asia region by 2015,” she said.
Founded in late 2011, the ZALORA Group has a presence in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Hong Kong, while in Australia and New Zealand it operates as The Iconic.
