MORE than 30 trainees from the Youth Development Centre bled for a good cause yesterday during the blood donation drive organised by the centre in collaboration with the Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC). It was held at the centre’s Binadiri Hall.
In an interview, one of the staff nurses at the JPMC laboratory, Romeo Tabios, said, “We usually hold campaigns through private companies and this is the second time, JPMC is conducting blood donation drive at the Youth Development Centre.”
The campaign was aimed at encouraging the trainees and staff of the centre to donate blood to help those who are in need and to save people’s lives.
In addition, it was also aimed at strengthening the blood bank at the JPMC.
