A BLOOD donation drive organised by the Youth Development Centre in collaboration with the Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) succeeded in collecting 46 pints of blood at the centre’s Binadiri Hall.
The Courses Supervisor at the centre, Muhd Amiruldinie bin Muhd Nasiruddin, said activities of this type are held three times a year.
“Through the blood donation drive trainees and staff are encouraged to donate their blood, especially to those who are in need. Such an act can save many lives.”
One of the staff nurses at the JPMC laboratory, Romeo Tabios said, “We usually hold campaigns through private companies. This is the first time the JPMC blood donation drive has been made open to the public and government agencies,” in which over 30 trainees and staff were involved.
