A WOMAN facing charges of cheating has asked for time to hire a counsel before entering her plea at the Bandar Magistrate’s Court.
Further mention was set for January 11.
Chief magistrate Muhammed Faisal PD Kefli gave 43-year-old Maimun binti Haji Omar time while she faces six charges of abetting six people by providing forged government pay slips to be used for applications for hire purchase vehicle financing from a bank.
The offences were allegedly committed in August and September 2009.
DPP Emily Goh had no objection for the adjournment.
