SINGAPORE (Bernama) – Louise Sitharta was supposed to have a vacation here with her fiance before getting married in May next year.
However, her hope was dashed as her fiance, Alain, was on the AirAsia Indonesia’s plane that went missing.
“My fiance and his family were in that plane. They had planned to have a vacation and I was supposed to meet him here. It was supposed to be his last vacation with his family before we were to get married,” she told reporters when met near the waiting area at Level 3, Changi Airport Terminal 2, here yesterday.
The 25-year-old Indonesian, took a different flight to Singapore at noon and was supposed to met Alain here.
Louise said Alain, 27, was travelling with his father and mother and three brothers.
“I am thinking positively and hoping that the plane will be found soon,” she said, adding that there was nothing to do while waiting aimlessly.
Louise knew about the news on the radio at about 11am on her way to Surabaya airport en route to Singapore.
