THE Virtual Kiub shop was officially launched yesterday by D5 Innovation to provide a wider business platform for online sellers and home-based entrepreneurs.
The shop, located at Kiulap, allow vendors to rent their cube according to packages available. Virtual Kiub, dubbed as Brunei 1st Online Cube Shop, offers innovative and interactive platforms for entrepreneurs to showcase their products.
Amid the blooming trend of cube shops, Annafi Hashim, Chief Technology Officer of D5 Innovation shared that within two weeks of operation, it has already received an overwhelming response from the public, especially those who wish to target a greater audience.
The idea sprung to life after Annafi noticed that several cube shops in the Sultanate could not accommodate bigger items due to limited space. This triggered the idea to create a business platform that offers the same concept but in a different perspective.
Buyers at Virtual Kiub can simply walk in to the shop or browse through the items at its website Virtual.com.
Vendors can reach their buyers via social media such as Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp.
By renting a cube at Virtual Kiub, their products also can be promoted using this portal.
The website also offers a service called Advertme, which allows tenants to advertise their products.
Virtual Kiub cubes can be rented from as low as $30 for 30 items per month.
Other packages would be $50 for between 30 and 50 items and $70 for between 50 and 100 items.
