AROUND 80 students of Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) who are on the Student Exchange Programme in South Korea celebrated Aidiladha.
The students deemed it a “fresh experience “celebrating the religious festivity outside Brunei.
In addition, the celebration gave the students the opportunity to meet and interact with people from around the world, who gathered at Seoul Central Mosque in Itaewon to perform Aidiladha prayers.
Aidiladha is celebrated with fervour among the Muslims in South Korea as it is one of the biggest celebrations in the Islamic calendar. South Korea is a country that has a minor population of Muslim community (about 100,000 people out of 48.5 million) and most of them are from foreign nations.
