THE Royal Brunei Police Force’s (RBPF) blood donation campaign in conjunction with RBPF’s 94th anniversary continued yesterday at the Tutong Police Station.
The campaign, which was open to police personnel and the public, was held in collaboration with RIPAS Hospital’s Blood Donation Centre.
The campaign aimed to foster relations between RBPF personnel and members of the public and also help Brunei Darussalam’s Blood Bank Unit maintain its stock for patients in need of blood.
Supervisor of the Blood Donation Centre, Hj Aqmal, told the Bulletin that the blood donation campaign is an ongoing event and RBPF’s initiative to hold such an event has helped the hospital keep the blood bank stocked up.
More than 12 police personnel took part in the blood donation drive.
