TIMES Square Shopping Centre yesterday held its Lunar Year celebration by welcoming the Year of the Goat at its shopping centre. The management gave away free oranges to its customers as a symbol of gratitude for their support.
Parents also took the opportunity to get their children to take photos with the Times Square mascots who were present to give away the oranges.
The event witnessed some family fun filled games such as ‘Guess the Song’ and ‘The Chopstick Game’ which started at 2pm.
In the ‘Guess the Song’ game, contestants were asked to guess the song that they were made to listen. The most number of successful guesses determined the winner. ‘Chinese Chopsticks’, on the other hand, is where each player is given a bowl filled with peanuts, and they are required to use a chopstick and move the peanuts into an empty bowl.
The player who moved most peanuts into the other bowl within the two-minute time limit won the challenge. Winners took home amazing prizes.
The management of Times Square Shopping Centre wished all its customers Gong Xi Fa Cai.
