Things Pan out well for Kah Boon

PAN Kah Boon was crowned victor of the 300 (supercharged) category of the Endure Jet Ski Challenge 2017 yesterday at Serasa Water Sports Complex.

Coming in second and third respectively were Bryan Chia Wai Yuen and Nayan Chuchu.

In the 200 (Normal Aspirated) category, Chu Win Kuin finished first after a tight battle against Baharuddin Zainuddin and Aziz Ismail, who both came in second and third respectively.

Youngest participant of the Endure Jet Ski Challenge 2017, nine-year-old Raiyan Marsal Baharuddin came out tops in the stand up category.

The jet ski rider shared that it was his first tournament.

In the 130 (Normal Aspirated) category, Haji Idzam Norhaidi Haji Mashud came in first while Mohd Sofian bin Ismail and Mohd Norul Zairy Mohd Tahir finished second and third respectively. - FIZAH HAB

He said the hardest challenge was conquering the wild waves en route to finishing first at the expense of other participants including two of his sisters.

His siblings Nurul Hannah Baharuddin, 14, and Nurul Nadiah Baharuddin, 15, finished fourth and second respectively.

Muhammad Hazmin Haji Mohammad settled for third.

Senior Special Duty Officer of the Youth and Sports Department, Mariam Ulat, presented the prizes.

Hosted for the first time by the Brunei Jet Sports Association (BJSA), the tournament was aimed at promoting the sport in the country.

A total of 28 riders, including seven from Malaysia, took part in the event.
