KADAI TelBru at Citis Square, the telecommunication provider’s flagship store, is a one-stop centre to subscribe to various products and services, as part of its commitment to improving customer care and experience.
Located at the popular shopping complex in Berakas, the new store aims to provide convenience to customers who can conduct their daily chores with leisurely activities such as dining and shopping. The outlet’s presence is to ensure the company as well as its products and services are highly visible to the public. A special media briefing and tour was held on Thursday, led by Pg Hjh Rina Yusnita Iman binti Pg Hj Md Yunus and Hjh Ajijah @ Shanti binti POKPSDP Hj Hashim, both from TelBru’s Sales Department, dealing with Kadai TelBru’s Consumer Sales. During the briefing, they explained the various features and services offered at Kadai TelBru Citis Square.
Launched on March 1 earlier this year, the store provides customers with all the primary products and services offered by TelBru such as High Speed Broadband, eSpeed and telephone lines. It also provides telephony value added services such as eFon, a software-based phone with a Brunei number that can be used on customers’ existing phone lines, PC desktop and laptop using SIP clients that allow voice communications, PhoneXtra for abbreviated dialing, call transfer, call waiting and three-way conference. Also available is the Electronic Phone Lock which can prevent unauthorised use of a phone as well as prevent anybody from making local, mobile, international 01 or IDD calls. Caller ID is another service, which shows the caller’s number on your telephone unit, allowing you to see who is calling.
Broadband Value Added Services are also available in the form of eHosting – a service to accommodate websites in the BruNet server – as well as eSmS, where users can have added flexibility by texting a mobile number using their computers.
Also offered at the Kadai TelBru at Citis Square is a service called National Toll Free, which is often used by corporates and the government to offer their customers the ability to call them at a 1800-XXXX number without charges, giving them direct access to the their respective organisations’ services. Also available are international call service s such as IDD 00 – a premium quality phone call service that allows users to dial directly to other countries using a fixed line phone at home, office, TelBru payphones and TelBru prepaid cards. The store also sells prepaid “Budget Call” cards.
Another notable feature of the outlet is the broadband clinic, where customers can bring in their modems and routers to be checked and re-configured by TelBru’s own technicians.
Like all other Kadai TelBru outlets in the country, the Citis Square branch offers other services such as service application, eBill registration, bill payments and general enquiries on billing and all products and services. Telephone devices, computer accessories and a multitude of other telecommunication products are also for sale.
Manning the store is a total of 36 staff comprising customer service representatives, customer relation agents and support staff. The back office support staff has the responsibility of process improvements such as the monitoring of residential customers, government and corporate applications, handling bill enquiries and performing bill adjustments.
Meanwhile, the retail and merchant team, aside from ordering and supplying bulk orders of prepaid cards to customers, also manages the inventories of prepaid cards, power cards and merchandise items. On average, the outlet receives more than 4,000 customers a month, with the number increasing during peak times such as payday at the end and early parts of each month as customers flock to the store to pay their bills.
The store opens daily from 8.30am to 9.30pm, allowing customers to walk into the shop and carry out their transactions during lunchtime and after their normal working hours. The shop closes during public holidays and every Friday for prayers from 12pm to 2pm. Towards meeting customers’ convenience, Kadai TelBru is also located at other commercial areas such as The Mall in Gadong, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in Bandar Seri Begawan and Tanjung Bunut, among others.
