RENEWAL of the Home Takaful Protection plan or Fire Takaful, which is provided by Takaful Brunei Am (TBA) is now just a phone call away after it introduced its own 24-hour call centre.
Acting General Manager of TBA, Barudin bin Haji Kudil, shared this during a press conference yesterday, where he said this new platform allows for clients to enquire about matters including their policy details and the cost of their renewal contribution.
Also, policy renewal arrangements can be carried out instantly to make the process easier.
According to Barudin, clients can now opt between two payment methods – using credit card or cash.
When using a credit card, clients are given three working days to collect their renewed policy. Clients can also choose their assigned collection point, whether it be the TBA Headquarters in Beribi or request it be posted to their residential address.
To further improve efficiency, the call centre will also make call-up reminders to policy holders to remind them on their expiring policies and offer the same renewal arrangement and process.
The call centre will also attend to other general queries including reporting motor accidents, towing assistance and questions on general Takaful products.
Barudin took the opportunity to announce an upcoming service, the renewal of Motor policies and road-tax, which TBA foresees as setting a new benchmark in the insurance industry.
The acting general manager said that the setting up of the call centre is part of TBA’s proactive approach to smoothen operations by addressing clients’ needs while accepting the reality of everyday complexities such as time limitations because of traffic or queuing at TBA counters.
