WITH its motto “friendly, fast, flexible, fresh and fun”, Sushi Tei will be opening a new branch at Freshco, Batu Satu. New delicacies will be added to its menu list, infusing a local twist while maintaining the authentic Japanese formula.
A press conference on the opening was held yesterday chaired by Manager of Freshco, Erwin Manuel.
During the conference, Chef Anthony, an experienced and skilled chef in Japanese cuisine, said there are 40 new items of sushi inspired by Sushi Tei in Singapore.
“The menu that we have at Sushi Tei Freshco may be different from the one in Singapore. The delicacies can only be found in Brunei and only at Sushi Tei,” Chef Anthony said.
“Aburi Unagai Special Roll, Ika Mentai Cream Pasta and Golden Ebi Tempura are among the list,” he added.
The grand opening ceremony for the new branch will be held on September 23 and scheduled to officiate the ceremony is Japanese Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, Noriko Iki.
Aside from that, the ceremony will also hold a charity lunch for children of SMARTER, Pusat Ehsan and youth from several government sectors. In conjunction with the grand opening, Sushi Tei will be also having promotions.
Also present during the press conference were Director of Marketing and Events of AL lin Wan Sdn Bhd, Jm, and staff members of Sushi Tei.
