SUSHI Tei opened its second outlet yesterday at Freshco, Plaza Abdul Razak at Batu Satu. The grand launch was attended by Noriko Iki, the Ambassador of Japan to Brunei Darussalam.
Sushi Tei’s objective is to offer fresh and authentic Japanese cuisine in a modern and elegant environment at affordable prices. Sushi Tei ensures that the food quality is never compromised and can be proven with its open-kitchen concept, where the accomplished chefs would display their culinary flair in front of the diners.
Since their debut in Brunei last year, Sushi Tei has combined the best of the expansive Japanese cuisine has to offer, marrying the intricacies of sashimi, maki and innate local tastes.
The new branch offers more than 50 new dishes for diners seeking a genuine Japanese dining experience as well as dishes inspired by the Bruneian consumers.
Sushi Tei also offers a wide range of appetisers, sushi specials and their own Japanese pasta creations such as the Bruneian-inspired Golden Tempura and Golden Soft Shell Crab, a typical Japanese dish enhanced by a very unique sauce made up of salted egg, and the Honey-Glazed Chicken Cream Pasta, Ika Cream Pasta and the Spider Curry Pasta.
In the spirit of giving back to the society as well as to celebrate its successful one-year run, Sushi Tei had invited children from SMARTER and Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam to attend the launching ceremony.
