CHINA has a very promising drone market, in which start-ups play a big role.
A group of students from the Nanchang Hangkong University (NCHU) in Nanchang in China’s Jiangxi province, has even developed a solar-powered drone.
Designed by an R&D group, the drone can stay in the air in well-lit conditions and its larger-sized version is capable of bearing maximum take-off weights up to five kilogrammes.
Technology companies foresee a demand for drones to shoot movies and news footage, survey farmland and oilfields, inspect power lines and oil pipelines and give firefighters’ a bird’s eye view of burning burnings. – (XINHUA)
