STARBUCKS Brunei has opened its third store in Brunei, located at Jalan Tutong in the Brunei Muara District on January 27.
The new store will provide better access to coffee lovers who live around the area, instead of having to travel to town, the company said in a press release.
In conjunction with the new store launching, an opening special for customers is currently held where they will be entitled to 30 per cent off on selected Starbucks merchandises.
The design concept of this store is ‘Resort Modern’, featuring Semangkok woodwork (Semangkok – tropical hardwood from Malaysia), with the store’s wooden planks made using recycled pallet wood. The new store also features woven basket lights that are distinctive, refining the concept of this store. The store has an overall area of 1,968 sq ft and can seat approximately 70 people.
Sydney Quays, Managing Director of Starbucks Malaysia and Brunei said, “In Brunei, we look forward to welcoming customers to our stores and engaging them in moments of connection over coffee. We are delighted to be able to continue to serve Bruneians and provide a gathering place where people can come together to connect over coffee and enjoy the ‘Third Place’ experience. We offer the highest-quality arabica coffee, handcrafted beverages, locally relevant food and legendary service that is consistent with the quality and experience the Starbucks brand is known for and trusted by consumers across the globe.”
