STANDARD Chartered will be holding a car boot sale to raise funds for their global charity initiative, ‘Seeing is Believing’, tomorrow (November 2).
The car boot sale will take place at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium at the covered parking lot under the main stairs from 8.30am to 12pm, a press release stated.
Hafiz Hasheim, Corporate Affairs Manager said: “At Standard Chartered we’re encouraged to volunteer our time to help out those in need through our various sustainability initiatives. The ‘Seeing is Believing’ car boot sale is a great opportunity for families and friends to spend their Sunday morning together and raise money for a good cause.”
The ‘Seeing is Believing’ car boot sale is open to everyone and also for potential participants to set up their booths. There will be various food vendors, public and Standard Chartered Staff participants who will be setting up their space and fun activities at the Standard Chartered booth.
The registration fee from participants was donated to Standard Chartered Bank’s ‘Seeing is Believing’ campaign.
Seeing is Believing is Standard Chartered Bank’s global charity initiative to tackle visual impairment and avoidable blindness. Started in 2003, Seeing is Believing aims to raise USD100 million by 2020.
