THE Language and Literature Bureau (DBP) in Bandar Seri Begawan yesterday welcomed 13 A-Team students from Sayyidina Ali Secondary School (SMSA), Kuala Belait.
Upon arrival, the group and their supervising teachers were given a brief presentation on DBP’s historical background and other information of the library.
The educational visit was intended for the students to gain more information on the reading activities available at DBP.
The students also received donation in terms of reading materials published by the Language and Literature Bureau to be part of a collection for the school’s reading corner.
The school’s reading corner is expected to be established by next year as part of the A-Team’s project for their participation in a competition organised by the Counselling and Career Guidance Unit, Ministry of Education.
The visit was further enlivened with several fun activities such as quizzes and poem reading.
The students were then ushered for a quick tour around the library.
