YAN (Bernama) – Three siblings are at a loss when their mother failed to gain consciousness after undergoing a surgery to remove a growth in her brain on Feb 1.
Saadiah Omar, 46, who is also a single parent is currently being treated at the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital in Alor Setar when her condition became critical after suffering damage to her kidney three days after the operation, and viral infection to her lungs.
Her brother, Yaakob Omar, 42, said his sister, who stayed in Kampung Sungai Daun Tengah, worked as a fisherman.
He said Saadiah’s vision started to blur and she had headaches last year, forcing her to stop going out to sea.
Yaakob hoped the public could help the three siblings, Nur Shamira Abd Yazid, 15, Muhammad Nor Hisham, 13, and Muhammad Nor Hafizi, 7, who were staying at his house since two weeks ago as his income as a fisherman was uncertain.

Nor Hisham who studied at the Lil Banil Quran Recital Centre in Pendang had to pay his fee of RM100 monthly and handicapped Muhammad Nor Hafizi needed diapers.
