THE Language and Literature Bureau (DBP) in the capital yesterday played host to a group of Singaporean students and curriculum officers, who were in the country for a short educational trip.
The visitor’s comprised seven officers and teachers from the Malay Unit, Curriculum Planning and Development Section of the Singapore Education Ministry and 58 selected students.
The visitors were briefed on the background and structure of the library and its branches by Assistant Library Officer, Awg Hadiyatullah Hj Yahya.
Following this, the students participated in several library activities, which included a quiz session on the library and on Brunei.
The visitors were also taken for a tour of the Customer Services Sections such as the Adult, Youth and Children Book Loan Service as well as the general reference section and Bruneiana Collection.
