TEN ‘enrolled nurse’ students from Singapore completed a 10-day placement programme at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital. Yesterday was their last day in Brunei Darussalam before going back to Singapore.
According to a press release, clinical placement such as this will increase the cooperation between the two countries in learning good nursing practices apart from giving them an understanding about the society and culture in Brunei Darussalam.
For 10 days, the students were given the chance to experience Brunei Darussalam’s healthcare either in the hospital or in the community. Apart from the placement in RIPAS hospital, they also visited other government hospitals, clinics and health centres as well as toured Kampong Ayer and the Royal Regalia Museum.
