THE Serikandi Cafe & Restaurant located in Kiulap is currently offering Middle-Eastern cuisine as part of its revamped menu, which is available to the public daily from 7am-10pm.
The features of the menu are the lamb shank and spring chicken dishes which are served with aromatic rice.
With almost 25 years of experience, Chef Hamid explained that expertise is needed to ensure the ingredients are perfectly blended together to produce a great dish, which he mastered through trial and error.
He shared that the lamb shank is cooked daily to preserve its tender juicy taste and due to its popularity. Along with the spring chicken, the restaurant on average has experienced a great response from the public with up to 40 orders a day for both dishes.
Meanwhile, the restaurant is also taking orders for the upcoming Aidiladha celebration and patrons are advised to place their orders at least eight hours in advance.
