SHAH ALAM (Bernama) – A curator with the Selangor Malay Customs and Heritage Corporation claimed trial in the Sessions Court to certifying a fake document and accepting gratification, two years ago.
Mohd Subli Musa, 35, is accused of certifying a government fake requisition and delivery document pertaining to the acquisition of a Yamaha keyboard worth RM7,140 for a traditional musical group, Kumpulan Kesenian Padat.
He is accused on another charge of misusing his position to obtain a gratification of RM38,000 for the transaction of the musical instrument from Security Multi Solutions for Kumpulan Kesenian Padat.
He allegedly committed the offences at the office of Kumpulan Kesenian Padat, Shah Alam on May 7, 2013.
Datuk Noradidah Ahmad set bail at RM10,000 with one surety for both charges, and Feb 10 for re-mention.
Deputy public prosecutor Mohammed Heikal Ismail appeared for the prosecution while counsel Ridha Abdah Subri represented the accused.
