FOUR secondary schools from Cluster 3 presented their schools’ best practices during the second sharing session for secondary schools which took place in Masin Secondary School. The first sharing session was conducted in May this year.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by a prayer which was led by Ustaz Husin bin Liman from Sayyidina Husain Secondary School.
The guest of honour was Awang Haji Zulkifli bin Haji Muhammad Yusuf, the Acting Director of Curriculum Development Department under the Ministry of Education.
Present at the event were the Chairperson cum Principal of Rimba II Secondary School, Cikgu Hjh Suriani binti Hj Noor Hashim and Deputy Chairpersons – Cikgu Siti Hawa binti Hj Mat Noor, Principal of Rimba Secondary School; Cikgu Zarina binti Hj Kadir, Principal of Sayyidina Husain Secondary School; Cikgu Hjh Sapiah binti Pengarah Haji Buntar, Principal of Sayyidina Umar Al-Khattab Secondary School; Cikgu Hj Jafri bin Hj Suhaili, Principal of Masin Secondary School; Cikgu Hj Metussin bin Hj Jais, Principal of Awang Semaun Secondary School and Cikgu Norazizah binti Hj Md Salleh, Principal of Sayyidina Hassan Secondary School.
Also in attendance were the deputy principals and invited teachers from Cluster 3 secondary schools.
The welcoming address was delivered by Cikgu Siti Hawa binti Hj Mat Noor.
During the sharing session, Sayyidina Husain Secondary School presented their best practice with WSID (Whole School ICT Development) in the Malay Language Lessons that was presented by Cikgu Saliati binti Hj Md Salleh, Cikgu Nor Amalina binti Hj Abd Rahman (relief teacher) and Cikgu Md Aziizul Hakiim bin Piut.
Meanwhile, the team from Sayyidina Umar Al-Khattab Secondary School presented the effectiveness of Graphic Literature in summarising essay. The presenters were Cikgu Ahmad Jasnie bin Madun and Cikgu Hj Hamdillah bin Hj Metali.
‘Transformation Towards Excellence’ from Awang Semaun Secondary School was presented by Cikgu Roslena binti Hj Munel and Cikgu Sarana binti Hj Idris. And the last to present their best practice were Cikgu Rossaleni binti Hj Selamat and Cikgu Zuliza binti Roseli from Masin Secondary School. The event ended with the presentation of certificates to the presenters by the guest of honour.
