SAPURA Kenchana Drilling Co recently visited the Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam in Kuala Belait to make a contribution to the facility.
The company donated two units of air conditioners, two units of water heaters, two units of whiteboards and stationery items for the centre.
They also donated $1500 worth of household items and kitchen supplies.
“When you live within a community, it’s normal that you try to give back something that everyone can share especially those who are in need.
“This is also a part of our corporate social responsibility activities,” said Dave Christiansen, the Country Manager of Sapura Kenchana Drilling Co during an interview with the Bulletin.
The Branch Manager of the Pusat Ehsan, Hamimah binti Hj Sapar, shared, “We are more than thankful for the contributions.”
She added, “Though as a centre that depends on contributions from the public, companies and other agencies, we feel that we are under-equipped to cater to the students as the numbers have been growing in the past years.”
As a token of appreciation, the students of the centre showed off their ability to dance and entertain by performing the popular Korean pop dance, the Gangnam Style, which enthused all those present during the function.
