A TOTAL of 250 cows, 250 buffaloes and 100 goats specially imported by Mulaut Abattoir Sdn Bhd for this year’s Hari Raya Aidiladha celebrations arrived yesterday at the Muara Port from the Northern Territories, Australia.
Mulaut Abattoir Sdn Bhd will be holding the slaughtering of sacrificial animals for four days beginning Hari Raya Aidiladha on October 5, corresponding with 10 Zulhijjah.
All orders and payments will be held at the Mulaut Abattoir Sales Department counter, starting from September 27 until October 2. Counters will be open daily from 8am until 5pm.
Prices for sacrificial animals this year is $5 per kg for both cows and buffaloes. Meanwhile, the price for goats will range from $550 to $650 each.
Mulaut Abattoir will also be offering three types of services for the three types of livestock at reasonable prices.
Those who wish to hold sacrificial ceremonies this year can obtain the forms at Mulaut Abattoir meat shop branches and the Mulaut Abattoir Sales Department counter at Jalan Kilanas/Mulaut.
This year, the abattoir will continue to provide individual Qurban or Aqiqah service.
