KOTA KINABALU (Bernama) – The Sabah government is always supportive of the federal government’s plans and efforts to boost educational excellence in the state.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said the state government would continue to cooperate with the Ministry of Education to produce excellent human capital via creative and innovative approaches.
“If the plans and efforts can be done continuously, it will definitely have positive impact on our children,” he said when opening the ‘Kad Ucapan Hari Guru’ prize giving ceremony yesterday.
The text of speech was read out by Sabah Minister of Special Functions Datuk Teo Chee Kang.
Musa said it is the responsibility of teachers to educate children who have become more complex and thus demand greater commitment from them.
Some 200,000 copies of winning works were published in Malay, English and Chinese for free distribution to schools in the state.
