ROUTE 300, a vintage diner style eatery from the 50’s to 60’s era, launched its new menu to cater to both frequent in-house bowlers and the public, recently. The restaurant is located within the MegaStrike Bowl at The Airport Mall.
Gourmet Consultant led by Luqman Hakim Othman, is behind the eatery’s refurbished menu, which aims to provide customised and innovative food and beverage selections at a reasonable price.
Megastrike’s Managing Director, Major (Rtd) Hjh Sharifah Hazlina binti Syed Elham, said that within a month of analysis and brainstorming, Route 300 cleverly produced its unique menu and named them based on the techniques, rules and elements of bowling.
Among the menu includes the ‘Strike’ fries which is crispy golden brown potatoes topped with spicy bolognaise sauce and the ‘Gutter Ball’ Burger, an in house made burger patty filled with a melted ‘oozy’ mozzarella cheese between a squared sesame buns.
Route 300’s signature Hot Routes ranges from the so-called bowler’s styles of Cranker, Tweener and Spinner – a selection of grilled chicken or beef jumbo frankfurters topped with three different combinations.
New concoctions have also been added including the popular twisted milkshakes compilations and now known as the ‘Quakes’.
Route 300 also provides catering services to schools, companies and organisations conducting leagues and tournaments at MegaStrike Bowl as well as birthday packages for kids.
