ROYAL Brunei Catering Sdn Bhd (RBC) raised its curtain for seafood enthusiasts as its Seafood Wave Promotion made its debut last night at Anjung Saujana, Brunei International Airport. The promotion will run until December 27.
The Seafood Wave is offered from every Thursday to Saturday with a vast selection of a la carte lunch dishes commencing from 11.30am to 2pm, and an enticing dinner buffet spread from 7pm to 10pm. Whilst on Friday, it will only offer the dinner buffet option. The prices of the a la carte plates varies while the buffet dinner is affordably priced.
The guest of honour who officiated the Seafood Wave Promotion was the Deputy Minister of Defence, Dato Paduka Awg Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat who was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary (Policy and Investment) at the Ministry of Finance, Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hisham bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, as the Chairman of RBC.
Prior to the launching, a welcoming remark was made by RBC’s Advisor to the Board of Directors, Stanley Tham, who said Anjung Saujana is the RBC’s flagship restaurant which aims for transformation and development.
It signifies the most futuristic gastronomic buffet with international and Asian cuisines and conceptual designs with tradition and cultural insight combined with the interior ambience boasting a modish luxury.
“Seafood Wave is inspired by our corporate executive chef who developed the menu with his team to offer choices from ethnic to regional and international cuisines. The focus is on offering an abundance of seafood to customers which is an integral part of RBC’s future cuisine development plan,” said the advisor.
Throughout the promotion, sumptuous dishes for a la carte will be available such as oyster thermidor with vapour potato and mesclun leaves, chilli mud crab, Alaskan king crabs and swordfish steaks. While for the buffet, exquisite seafood selections can be found at the Seafood on Ice and Seafood Ready-to-Grill counters where they offer oysters, mussels, and tiger prawns just to name a few.
In the hot plates section, patrons can enjoy the seafood biryani rice, grilled hake citrus broth Asian flavoured and tandoori grilled diver sole with lime and raita.
Whereas for customers seeking for non-seafood cuisine – masala potato, Japanese beancurd with shrimp paste and buttermilk chicken are on the menu.
Dessert lovers will sure to take pleasure in the range of mouth-watering display of assorted soft cakes which include chocolate brownies, Kak Ros’ special kek batik and yam cheese cake among others.
During the promotion, dine-in patrons are entitled to a lucky draw when they leave their name and contact numbers on their dining receipts at the restaurant.
The grand prize will be one return air ticket to Singapore sponsored by Singapore Airlines and RBC dining voucher worth B$200.
The second prize will be one return air ticket to Singapore, and the third prize will be RBC dining voucher worth B$100.
One surprise gift will also be at stake which will be a two-night weekend stay in Grand Deluxe room for two pax at Grand Hyatt Singapore sponsored by Grand Hyatt Singapore. Additionally, a three-day Instagram Lucky Draw Contest was held and today will be the last day.

Throughout the promotion period, Baiduri Infinite and Platinum cardholders are entitled to a 20 per cent discount, and 15 per cent for Gold, Classic and Debit cardholders, whereas RBC Dining Privilege cardholders are entitled to 10 per cent discount.
