LIAO Jing Chun, a well-known Dim Sum Master Chef from Singapore yesterday conducted a cooking class at the Emperor’s Court, Manggis Mall.
The class, arranged by Royal Brunei Catering Sdn Bhd (RBC) to celebrate the Dim Sum Ala Carte Festival 2014, was organised exclusively for RBC’s corporate clients.
With a career spanning 30 years in dim sum creations, Liao Jing Chun started his journey in the art of creating the bite-sized Chinese delicacies in China.
The master chef, along with his helper Huang Zhengjun, showcased his skills in making three exclusive cuisines – Deep Fried Century Egg Roll, Crystal Prawn and Chives and Sweet Potato Puree with Ice Cream. Attendees had the chance to try out his creations at the end of the class.
The Dim Sum Ala Carte Festival 2014 will run until October 6 and is open daily from 9am to 2.30pm with the exception on Fridays, when it will be open from 9am to 12pm only.
Throughout the promotional period, dine-in customers will automatically be entitled to a lucky draw, which will give them the chance to win the grand prize of one return air ticket to Singapore, sponsored by Singapore Airlines. The second and third prizes are RBC vouchers worth $200 and $100, respectively.
