A TOTAL of 20 Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) military cadets from different educational institutions in the country left for Singapore yesterday to join eight other countries in an annual military cadet exchange programme.
The 10-day International Cadet Exchange Programme (ICEP 2014) that will end on November 29 will see participants involved in various activities, including visits to army camps, sports meet, games, as well as cultural performances, said Major Pg Hamdiah bin Pg Hj Hashim, Commanding Officer of the Brunei Cadet Force of the RBAF, who was also present at the airport to bid farewell to the delegation yesterday.
The delegation was led by four supervising teachers, led by Cadet Lieutenant Mazli.
Also present to bid farewell yesterday was the Director of Co-Curriculum Education at the Ministry of Education, Pg Suhaimi bin Pg Hj Bakar.
